Great Blue Heron

I don't know what it is but lately we have been seeing a ton of birds and wildlife. It might have to do with the bounty of berries and fish or perhaps it's all the birds leaving the nest about now.

The Heron has been fishing on our banks every evening.

We are starting to see the deer. I have'nt seen them all year and now I am seeing four.

While I don't have a picture, our neighbors have seen a black bear out there. I can't wait to see him.

Even though it's only mid August you can already see signs that fall is around the corner.

Soon the young Great Horned owls will be looking for their own territory.

I have to be very carfull about the chickens here soon as the young owls will even try to hunt in the daylight hours.
