Slugs
Ack! They seem to like everything especially the lettuce.
I don't mind sharing. I think we have planted enough for everyone but they are little piglets!
I really don't want to kill them, I just want to make it uncomfortable for them so they move on. I heard some good tips on the raido the other day. They apparantly don't like crawling over anything rough like lava rock or oyster shell. I am going to pick up some oyster shell at the Cenex today and see if that will save the lettuce.
